David Neal Walker went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2019.
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father Willard and Joyce Bell Walker of Brock, TX and brother Harold Walker of Brock, TX.
He is survived by wife Sharon Walker of Trophy Club, TX. Two brothers - Ronnie Walker and wife Linda of Desdemona, TX and Ralph Walker and wife Barbara of Brock, TX. Six Children – Angie Walker of Dallas, TX , Samantha Stephenson and husband Andrew of Camarillo, CA , Brett Walker and wife Tracy of Weatherford, TX , Lyndsie Smith and husband Joe of Trophy Club, TX , Kelsie Jones and husband Jason of Springtown, TX and Kyle Graves and wife Sarah of Denton, TX.
David was born in Weatherford, TX on Nov 03, 1952. He had a love for basketball which he played growing up and at Weatherford Junior College. From there he went on to Tarleton State University where he graduated college with a degree in education.
David was a member of the Roanoke Church of Christ. He loved the Lord and his family. He was a husband, father and grandfather. Although many knew him as David, he was also known by many as “Coach”. He retired from teaching and coaching girls basketball in 2009 at Aledo High School. Whether it was perfecting a jump shot or giving a history lesson David was blessed to be an influence in many lives. When he wasn’t busy with his wife Sharon’s list of “Honey Dos” during retirement he spent his time doing numerous things. He loved playing golf, attending basketball games, watching sports and most of all traveling in his motor home with his wife Sharon and dog Remy.
David will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humor, wittiness and his devotion to family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and Services will be 10:00am – 11:30am followed by burial at Medlin Cemetery in Trophy Club, TX. The family please ask that any flowers be sent to Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX.
