David Edward Wright, 59, the third of six children, was born to Howard F. Wright and Lillian Graessle Wright on May 21, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan. He passed away on June 30, 2012 at Baylor Hospital in Grapevine, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. He attended St. Clair Shores High School and spent his career in as a broadcast engineer in television. He accepted Jesus Christ as his savior as a child. Dave loved his family foremost, but enjoyed woodworking, shooting handguns, traveling to Alaska and down Texas back roads, finding "hole-in the wall" barbeque joints, making homemade jerky, and watching the Texas Rangers. Dave was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Colleen Wright whom he married on June 28, 1981; two children: Tyler Elliot Wright and Caitlin Clea Wright; brothers: Howard F Wright III, Alan Wright and wife Grace, Paul Wright and wife Theresa; sisters: Barbara Hauser and husband Neil, and Mary Lou Suarez and husband Juan; his in-laws: Ronald and Beverly Hendrix and Amanda Hendrix; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Dave's brothers Howard F Wright III, Al Wright, nephew Brian Hauser and brother-in-law Neil Hauser. Honorary Pallbearers are Dave's nephews Justin Wright and Brenden Hauser. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff in the CICU of Baylor Grapevine, especially the efforts of Dr. Patrick Roughneen.
