Dawn Marie Fitzmaurice, age 60, passed away on June 7, 2020 at her home in Euless Texas surrounded by her husband and children. Dawn was born in Bronx, New York to Donald and Ruth Knipe.
Dawn graduated in 1978 from Mt Saint Ursula in the The Bronx. Dawn worked on Wall Street and Montefiore Hospital until their family moved. In the Bronx is where she met Michael Fitzmaurice. They united in marriage on November 4th, 1989. This year would have celebrated 31 years of marriage, family, and memories. Dawn and her family moved to Patterson, NY in 1999 where she worked for National Fire Sprinkler Association for over 10 years.
Dawn was a generous and kind friend to so many. She was so passionate about family and loved to bond and share memories of growing up with those close to her. She loved reading, relaxing at the pool, and spending time with her loved ones.
Dawn is survived by her husband Michael, her children, Christopher and Taylor, and her father, Donald Knipe. She is also survived by her sister Patrica, brother in law Phil, and her sister Carol. Also, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Dawn will be dearly missed and her life will be celebrated every day.
A memorial in Dawn’s honor will be held in Texas on June 27th and New York on July 25th.
