Dawn Shree Vailahi Macdonald

Dawn Shree Vailahi MacDonald was born on December 22,1970 to goodly parents, Sione Muhu and Folole Salt Vailahi. Born in Tonga and raised in San Mateo, CA, her family moved to Euless, Texas in 1984, which is where she lived the rest of her earthly life. After graduating from Trinity High School in 1990, Dawn served a full-time mission in the Dominican Republic for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she built lifelong relationships in serving and sharing her testimony with the people there. She then began her career at Federation of State Medical Board where she worked for 22 years and retired in December 2021. Dawn married the eternal love of her life, Rudy MacDonald, on March 2, 2001, in the Dallas Texas Temple. They have built a beautiful life together with 4 children, Elder Keveni MacDonald (20), Nova Renee (19), Zyrus (14), and Sedrick (11). She also leaves behind 4 brothers: Wesley (Vika), Sione (Sela), Tevita (Sela), Malakai (Barbara), sisters Lipeti (Siua) and Katalini (Peau), including 36 nieces and nephews, whom she loved and treated as her own. Dawn was known and loved for her sharp-shooter and witty personality. She was a loving wife, sister, aunty and friend and will be dearly missed. Fly high our beautiful dancing queen!
