Debbie A. Greever, resident of Fort Worth, passed away on 4/5/2024 at home, at the age of 68 years.

Debbie, Aunt Deb, or Ebie to many, was born in Fort Worth on 9/22/1955 to Vernon and Nona Greever. A graduate of Eastern Hills High School class of 1974 and a lifelong member of Sagamore Baptist church, she spent many summers engaged in international missionary work and vacation bible school. Her walk as a Christian serving other in all circumstances inspired so many to Christ.

Debbie began her career in healthcare first as a CNA at Watson’s Nursing Home working her way through St Joseph’s Vocational School of Nursing graduating in 1976. Debbie was honored and grateful for her 30-year career discovering a passion working the critical care and cardiac step-down units at Osteopathic Medical Center before retiring from the Tarrant County Health Department TB Outreach program.

Retirement brought Debbie some of her greatest joys in life forging new friendships at Casa, leading Bible study both at Casa and Birchman Baptist Church, learning to paint and experience her grandnieces and nephews blossom.
Debbie “mothered” all her nieces and nephew but most especially great niece Kiersten Horridge as her own daughter and was “grandmother” to her three boys.

Debbie never met a stranger and always found the best in others. She was a woman of determination, fierce independence, and uncompromising values and was always at the ready to provide a listening ear, sage wisdom, and unwavering support to all. She was known for gifts of discernment and encouragement.
2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
