Deborah Lynn Smith Adkison, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2017.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst.
Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville following service.
Debbie was born August 21, 1955 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Bill Smith and Jackie Smith Hammer. She attended Eastern Hills High School before pursuing a career with Southwestern Bell Telephone where she retired in 2005 after 30 years.
Debbie's life was a life of love. She loved people, animals and life itself. She had a special affection for dogs, especially her last friend "Goober."
Debbie was diagnosed with a life ending illness in 2008, but she continued to live to her best ability, touching the lives of many others.
Debbie will be remembered in love by her husband of 42 years, Ron, her son Nick, granddaughter Keira, her very special mother Jackie, father Bill Mack Smith and his wife Cindy.
