Deborah Joan Madeley Cullum (Mimzy), passed away July 22, 2022 surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was a Spanish/French teacher/department chair at Grapevine High for 32 years. She was also instrumental in the continuation and expansion of the Veterans Day program. She was a natural teacher and influenced hundreds of students over the years who, as a testament to her passion and dedication, wrote her later in their careers about how much they loved and admired her, and many pursued Spanish as a result of her influence. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Bernie Jo Madeley. She is survived by her husband of 46 years James Cullum and their two children Holly Bergstrom and her husband Austin and four grandchildren (Jack, Nate, Lucy and Reese) and Wes and Leanna Cullum and two grandchildren (Kale and Anna Kate) and her sister Cheryl Porter. The family would especially like to thank Mercy Hospice for their amazing staff and care. Joe, Billy, Anita, Connie, and Isaac were professional and empathetic.
