Deborah “Debbie” Kay LaPenna, 61 years old, of Euless, Texas passed away on Tuesday June 27th after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was born on August 29, 1961 to Roy Kathryn and Warner Muirhead in Fort Worth, Texas. They moved to Euless, Texas where Debbie grew up and ultimately started and raised her family. Those closest to Debbie knew she loved to laugh and that her family was always the center of her entire world. She was a beloved wife, Mom, Mimi and friend.
Married to Robert “Bob” LaPenna her partner in life for more than 46 years and went on to have 3 children, Lana Kay, Robert (Bobby) Carlton and Chase Warner. Nothing made her happier than to be at one of her kids or eventually grandkids sporting events or activities. She was a cheerleader, coach, mentor and overall best Mom and Mimi anyone could have asked for. She was fearless (except for heights) yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She loved spending time with family and friends and everyone loved her amazing strawberry and almond cakes that she made for all birthday celebrations.
Debbie worked in the dental field in a variety of capacities and most recently at Fossil Creek Dental for more than 20 years. She demonstrated hard work and determination throughout her career but will be remembered by her colleagues and patients for her compassion and caring demeaner.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Roy Kathryn Muirhead and Warner Muirhead.
Debbie is survived by her husband Bob LaPenna, 3 children Lana Hubble (spouse Joey), Bobby LaPenna (spouse Katie), and Chase LaPenna (spouse Tiffany), 7 grandchildren (Cody, Taylor, Brooklyn, Ruthie, Bekah, Rowan and Cole) and 3 great grandchildren (Grayson, Addilyn and Aspyn).
