Deborah L Gandolph, Sparks, Hoover
March 3,1948 - June 7, 2023
Debie made a great impression in the lives she touched in her time here on this earth.
Debie was the second daughter of Francis Paul Gandolph and Catherine Letitia Aldridge. She was born in Gainesville, Texas and grew up in Fort Worth, Tx. Deborah was a graduate of Diamond Hill Jarvis High School in Fort Worth. She was blessed with kindness and she would show it to anyone that would let her. She was blessed to have three sisters to grow up with and bond together.
Deborah met a young service man David Sparks and their family was started. They were blessed with a daughter and a few years later a son was added to the family. While raising these two fine children she managed to work outside the home. She worked many years for Coca-Cola, Texas Instruments, Mr. Eds Pet store, and Sack and Save grocery stores. In the early summer of 1994, she met her next and final husband while working at Sack and Save. His name was Eugene D Hoover.
Deborah’s greatest enjoyment was to spend time with her three grand-daughters and three grand-sons. She enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her many nieces and nephews. She was pleased to also to know her five great grandchildren. Deborah was known to have great joy in taking care of many dogs, cats, fish, birds, and ferrets. It was even said by some people that she was caring for a zoo. In her final years she referred to the birds and squirrels as little people.
The final decade of her life was her greatest challenge. She suffered through several health problems and surgeries. She showed everyone that she was a great warrior and she would bounce back and continue to live life.
She was pre-ceded in death by both of her parents, aunts, uncles, and other family members. She is survived by her husband (Eugene Hoover), daughter (Deidre Milligan) and husband Bryan, son (Tony Sparks) and wife Gina. Three Sisters: Paula Brown, Patty Slater, and Dana Charles her husband Jonny Charles. She is also survived by her many grand-children, nieces and nephews and their families. She is survived by a few aunts and uncles and other family members.
Deborah also knew the Lord was her savior and the strength in her life. She said many times that she would live to be a hundred years old. Her earthly body could not keep up with her will to continue on. She had run a good race and Jesus sent his angels to bring her home to rest. Knowing the fighter, she was; she will start working on preparing for the time when we are united again.
Deborah would like for everyone to grieve for a while, but remember that she left a piece of herself in our hearts. She will want us to take that piece of love and manifest it in our lives that we have left on this earth. Show others that she left that love and fighter in us. That will be her legacy in life. Live your life to the fullest and I will see and greet you on the other side.
With love: Deborah (Debie) L Hoover.
