Debra Lynn Lambert

October 26, 1965 — February 10, 2024

Debra Lynn Lambert, 58, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of February 10, 2024. Born to Melvyn and Sonya Fisher on October 26, 1965, in Renton, Washington. She was a force of nature and an endless river of love and positivity that swept those around her into her current.
Debra’s greatest joy in life was her family. She married Jay on April 26, 1986 and together they raised three children: Justin, Sonya, and Trent.
Her main focus in life was being the best mother that she could be, and despite giving 100% of herself to that endeavor, she still managed to pursue higher education, earning a double bachelor’s degree from UTA in 2015. Her dedication and persistence to always learn and improve is something she worked tirelessly to instill in her children.
Debra fully believed that “dogs are part of the family.” Her love for animals was well-known by all. Her passion for nature led the family on yearly trips to national parks, lakes, and mountainside cabins. She felt most at home, hiking and exploring in the mountains.
Debra loved her family and friends with the ferocity of a mother bear. She was giving to a fault, but was never afraid to vocalize anything she thought someone needed to hear, especially if that someone was one of her children.
She converted the house to a baby-proof palace as soon as she was able to. She was the best Grandma to her grandchildren and put them above all. She loved to be surrounded by family, and never ran out of love to share, no matter how the family continued to expand.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Sonya Fisher, and her beloved in-laws, Charles and Marian Lambert.
Debra’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Jay, and their children; Justin, wife Morgan, and son Jonathan, Sonya and her partner Sam Stevens, Trent, his wife Hannah, and daughter Clara; Parents: Melvyn Fisher and wife Jewell; Brother: Joe Fisher and his son Andrew; as well as many other family members and friends.
