Debbie Rastogi, my beautiful wife and mother to Ariel and Belle, passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 7, 1969 to Marian (mother) and Thomas (father) Wallace in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Debbie. She loved walking, traveling, spending quiet evenings with family but most of all absolutely loved Disney - parks and movies. She worked as a framer in Hobby Lobby and absolutely loved being creative and shared her passions with everybody.
She always had a passion for the most beautiful things in life and would always be spotted taking photos whenever she traveled (domestic or international). She would do anything for her family and we all loved her dearly. She tried her best to be strong until the end even on the most painful days. We have lost the most wonderful woman and our support system and most of all my best friend.
She was beautiful both inside and out, and when she smiled, I felt alive. I was truly blessed to have a wife who loved me. I don't know how I am going to make it without her, but I know she is up there telling me to suck it up. I am trying to babe, but it is hard without you here to keep me on track. I know that everyone here (Ariel, Belle, Starry, Rocket, neighborhood fur babies and all your friends) loved her and is going to miss her sweet face as much as I do.
In lieu of a traditional memorial service, please feel free to share your thoughts and memories of how Debbie touched your lives.
