Della Howard

Della Howard passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2015 after a short illness.
A service honoring and celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles Howard, her sister Jean Krone, brother, Roy Hill, and parents, Everett and Evelyn Hill.
Among her many accomplishments were to be the first female hospital administrator. She was the Hospital Administrator of Boulevard Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. She was also the president of the Fort Worth Garden Club.
Della was a graduate of Pascal Tech High School in Fort Worth. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth and a brief resident of Corpus Christi and Keller Texas.
She was a long standing member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Fort Worth, where she met many of her lifelong friends.
She was survived by 3 daughters M. Lee McGlothlin, husband C. Lee; Cindy Burt; Toni Epps, and husband Phillip. 13 grandchildren: Terri Keene, husband Randy; Gala Langley, husband Randy; Hannah McGlothlin; Micah McGlothlin, wife Gabrielle; Nathanael McGlothlin; Jamie McGlothlin, wife Jessica; Travis Howard, wife Tracey; Stacy Lary; George (Trey) Burt; Charles (Ace) Burt; Rachel Sparger, husband Tommy; John Epps; Rebecca Middlebrook, and husband Eddie. 26 great grandchildren: Brittany Florez, husband Carlos; Jordan Christensen, husband Kenneth; Daniel Keene; Davis Keene; Brandon Langley; Jacob Langley; Tate Langley; Mia McGlothlin; Aubrey McGlothlin; Jefferson McGlothlin; David Sparger; Christian Sparger; Tripp Middlebrook; Katie Middlebrook; Elizabeth Middlebrook; Nina Howard; Nova Howard; Kristen Howard; Hunter Lary; Gus Nelson; Kylar Burt; Ace Burt; Jailee Burt; Shian Burt; Trinity Burt; and Hailey Burt. Two great-great grandchildren: Kinslee Florez and Bryanna Gant. As well as many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Her joyous smile and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
