Dennis Robert Burcham

April 7, 1955 — June 15, 2024

Dennis (Denny) Robert Burcham, 69, of Keller, TX. passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2024, surrounded by his family, and loved ones. Dennis was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and moved to Irving, TX. In 1958 where he grew up. He met the love of his life, Alice Marie Lakey in 1979 and they were Married in 1980. They welcomed their two children, Kelly and Brian, in 1984 and 1986. They later moved to Keller where they remained until his passing. Dennis worked in several different industries including freight lines, co-owner of a cabinet business and massage therapy, but was primarily a CPA for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, and even dabbled in golf, racquetball, and martial arts when he was younger. Denny will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents: Marion Hale Burcham, Sr. and Vivian Elizabeth Hulsey Burcham; brothers, Carl Ray Burcham and Marion Hale Burcham, Jr.; nephews, Todd Michael Burcham and Mike Burcham; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas, and Dollie Lakey; Sister-in-law Melvina Lakey and Judy Burcham. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Alice Burcham of Keller, TX; children: Kelly and Michael Garrett of Newark, TX and Brian and Jamie Burcham of Justin, TX; grandchildren Alissa and Faith Garrett. Sister-in-law Donna Burcham of Canton, TX; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Tom and Leslie Lakey of Lubbock, TX; nieces and nephews: Troy and Jennifer Burcham, Ty and Leslie Burcham, Craig and Mellisa Burcham, Mindy and Lance Hines, Melody Blake; and fifteen great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held in his honor. We request all of Denny's loved ones to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, TX. on June 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
