Diana Rhodes

Diana Rhodes, 55, of Crowley, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018.
Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Burleson.
Visitation: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday evening at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary to start at 7 p.m.
Diana was born in Mission, Texas in 1962. Upon graduating high school she attended the University of Texas in Austin. After college she had two children and began a life-long career with the Social Security Administration, until her passing away on Mother's Day. She was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church participating in RCIA, Bible Study Groups and the Daughters of St. Ann.
The highlights of her week were attending Eucharistic Adoration and Holy Mass. She was an enthusiastic crafter and loved making jewelry, painting and sewing. She also enjoyed preparing home cooked meals and baking for her family. Her favorite times were when the family gathered in the kitchen to cook together. She fought hard in her battle with stage IV renal cell carcinoma, never losing faith or hope and always sharing her love and God's love with everyone she met.
Diana was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Dale Rhodes; parents, Elvira and Arturo Munoz and brothers, Jose and Rene Munoz.
Survivors: Son, Michael Jeffrey Rhodes; daughter, Melissa Anne Rhodes; brother, Arturo Munoz, Jr. and sister Ana Munoz.
