Diane L. Conrad

July 16, 1961 — January 16, 2022

Diane L. Conrad, 60, of North Richland Hills, passed away on January 16, 2022 from natural causes.

Diane was born July 16, 1961, in Murrayville, B. C. Canada to Russel and Jean Thomas. She grew up in Washington, attended Blaine High School and then PIMA Medical Institute, and married Dave Conrad in 1980 in which they were blessed with three sons (Matthew, Mark, and Michael) as well as four grandchildren (Elijah, Emma, Eiden, and James). Diane also lived in Minnesota for a brief period before moving back to Washington, and then finally on to Arlington, Texas where she resided for over 20 years.
Diane had a passion for helping others, whether it was through her job as a medical assistant, her roles as wife and mother, coaching her sons in baseball, basketball, and football, or as the Athletic Director and Equipment Manager for the Des Moines Rams Pee Wee Football League. Diane was an avid football fan, but most importantly, a die-hard Seahawks fan (Go Hawks!) and she was a member of Park Springs Bible Church for over 20 years. To sum up Diane’s life in one or two paragraphs does not do justice to the type of person she was. She will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives.
Diane is survived by her husband Dave; son Matthew and his wife Tiffany; son Mark and his wife Lillian; son Michael and his wife Kristin; her grandchildren: Elijah, Emma, Eiden, and James; her sister Debbie Strickland; her sister Darlene Hunt; and her sweet pups Lucy and Rosco.

She is preceded in death by her father Russel Thomas; her mother Jean Thomas; her brother Donny Thomas; and her brother Danny Thomas

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Park Springs Bible Church, in Arlington, TX on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2 PM and will be led by Pastor Charlie Kuthe.

Butterflies to Heaven
If butterflies could fly to Heaven
they would bring my love to you
and yours right back to me
Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
