Dickie Faye "Meme" Gurule

Dickie Faye Gurule was born on December 4, 1942 in Ward County, Texas to the late Dorothy Pauline (Jones) Auten and John Douglas Auten. She passed away on March 27, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

Dickie Faye truly loved her family and was the perfect “Meme” to her grandchildren. She was the heartbeat and the glue of her family. She was the ultimate spoiler of her grandkids. She enjoyed shopping, painting, crafting and playing with her grandchildren. All time with her family was a good time.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 55 years, Victor Eloy Gurule and brother, Johnny Auten. She is survived by her daughters, Sloan Gurule; Nikki Evans and husband Marvin; son Roland Gurule and wife Kila. Meme was blessed with her precious grandchildren; Jon Paul Tabor, Krystal Evans, Timothy Schroeter, Victor Evans, Robert Schroeter, Katherine Schroeter, and Kailie Gurule. She was additionally blessed with great-grandchildren; Gregory, Koby, Camdyn, Addy, Haley, River and Cole. Dickie Faye also leaves her loving sisters, Kay Honey Boehner and Dorothy Jo Robinson. Her true loving spirit will be missed
