Don attended Mississippi State University and spent his career as a salesman, retiring in December 2002 from Kelly-Moore Paint Co. He married the love of his life, Billie, in 1977 and combined four children from each family to make a large family. Our daddy was larger than life to us. We have hunting, fishing, camping, grilling, catfish frying and funny stories that will remain with us forever. Thank you, Daddy, for always having our backs and loving us unconditionally, sometimes when we least deserved it.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Hill and Frances Felts; and brother, William "Billy" Hill Felts.
Survivors: Wife, Billie; his children, Donna Grogan (Marc), Barry Felts (Emily), Laurie Felts Demel and Patrick Felts (Dena); grandchildren, Daniel Adams (Rachel), Lauren Kilgore (Bryan), Steven and Shelby Grogan; and Billie's children, Kathy Stiles (Mark), Karen Young (David), Karl Woods and Rebecca Kuechenmeister (Wayne), their nine children and 12 great-grandchildren, who were like his own.
