Don Ray McBride, a beloved member of the North Richland Hills community and a dedicated banker, passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 81. Don was born on September 25, 1941, in Baird, Texas, to his loving parents Harold and Emma McBride.
Don pursued his education with great determination and received his Bachelor's Degree from Texas Christian University (Go Frogs). He then embarked on a successful career in the banking industry, where he was known for his unwavering dedication, strong work ethic, and his ability to build meaningful connections with his colleagues and clients.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Don proudly served his country as a member of the Army. Demonstrating his commitment and loyalty to his fellow servicemen. He was also a Mason and a Member of Church of Christ in Keller.
Throughout his life, Don was known for his warm and genuine nature, always ready with a smile and a kind word. He was a pillar of strength for his family and friends, offering unwavering support and guidance. Don's passion for life was evident. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sports TCU frogs, Dallas Cowboys and The Texas Rangers.

He is survived by: son, James McBride; daughter, Melanie O'Donnell spouse Tim; grandchildren, Deklin O"Donnell, Finley O'Donnell; sisters Shirley Rodgers, Carloyn Poe spouse Charles.
The dearest friend and the love of his life, Martha McCormick and her family Jeff, spouse Angie and Gavin McCormick, Lisa, spouse Tony, Michael, Branson and Jacob Hugghins.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Don's name to American Cancer Society.
Don Ray McBride will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved.
