Don “Donnie” Edward Stobaugh Jr. 70, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Watauga, Texas. Donnie was born August 16th, 1954 to Lorraine Grunwald and Don Stobaugh Sr. in Fort Worth, Texas. After obtaining his GED, Donnie enlisted in the Navy and served for four years before being honorable discharged. Donnie was an avid train enthusiast, an interest which led him into a long career with the Katy Railroad/Union Pacific Railroad before his retirement.

Donnie is survived by his wife Dana Stobaugh; brothers Jerry Stobaugh (Annette) and Scott Stobaugh; sisters Terri Wilson (Donnie) and DeAndra Mohr; daughters Misty Hackler (Steven), Tamara Wages, Kimberly Stobaugh, and Samantha St. John (Justin); son Doug Clark (Angela) along with seventeen grandchildren,  three great grandchildren and aunt Cecilia Slaughter . In addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents Lorraine VanVorst and Don Stobaugh Sr., and his brother Bobby Bates, Jr.

A burial service will take place at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas on September 24, 2024 starting at 3:00pm. Service attendees should arrive by 2:45pm and a vehicle procession will proceed to the designated shelter.
