Don Bruce Stocker was born July 22, 1931 in Weingarten, Missouri to the late Geraldine Lucille Perkins Stocker and Chester Charles Stocker. He passed away on October 7, 2021 at his home in Bedford, Texas.
Don retired after 32 years as a pattern maker at Bell Helicopter.
He didn’t hunt, fish, play cards or dominoes, all he wanted to do was work, which is exactly what he did up until June 24, 2021, 29 days before his 90th birthday. He was also a mason, custom home builder, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine Lucille Perkins Stocker and Chester Charles Stocker; brother, Joe Stocker; and wife, Barbara Ann Simmons Stocker.
He survived by his wife, Debra Ann Chote of Fort Worth; sons, Chuck Stocker and wife, Lisa of Grand Prairie, Steve Stocker and wife, Brenda of Keller, and daughter, Michele Chaney and husband Randy of Bedford; grandchildren, Tanya Ferreiro and husband A.J., Joshua Stocker, Melissa Bolaños and husband Emerio, Craig Chaney, Tyfany Hamilton and husband Brandon, Rylee Stocker and fiancée Austin Hackett, Jay Ferreiro and wife Sadie, Megan Chaney, and Braydee Stocker; great-grandchildren, Mateo Bolaños, Charles Bolaños, Arya Hamilton, Easton Hamilton, and Natalia Bolaños; and brother, Dale Stocker of St. Louis, Missouri.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Meadow Creek Baptist Church in Bedford, Texas after a visitation that will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
