NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Donald Ross Cowdrey, 68, went to his eternal home on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
Service: Celebration of Life, 2:00 pm Monday in the Chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
Don was born April 26, 1948 in Long Beach, CA to the late Douglas and Willie Cowdrey. He grew up in Torrance, CA before moving to the Fort Worth area in 1970. He worked in the printing and advertising business for over 43 years. Don loved anything with wheels, loved flying, and above all he loved his family who will miss him greatly. Don's legacy continues on through his wife, children, family and friends.
Survivors: Loving wife of 49 years, Donna Cowdrey; daughters, Lisa Haynes and husband Brian; daughter, Julie Gilbert and husband Nicholas; grandchildren, Haylee Haynes, Hannah Haynes, and Channing Gilbert; sister, Anna Maples; and a host of precious friends and extended family members.
