Donald Morris Hearon

Donald Morris Hearon, age 85, passed away on September 16, 2017. He was the widower of Martha Mae Hearon. They were married 38 years and she passed away in 2001.
Born in Houston, Texas he was the son of Ethel and William Hearon. Don was blessed with nine siblings:
John Clark, John David Hearon, Mary LucilleHearon, William Hearon Jr, Jane Hearon, Roseleen Hearon, Richard Hearon, Martha Hearon and Clint Hearon.
He attended Jacksonville Seminary and joined the United State Marines in 1952.
Don was an active member of AMVETS for 38 years striving to make rights and benefits better for our veterans. Don spoke before congress for veterans benefits and joined President Clintons delegation to South Korea to secure the bodies of our MIA’s.
Don is survived by his children Douglas Hearon and his wife Dodie, Cynthia Mileski, Sarahlee Wade and her husband Eric, Donald Hearon Jr and his wife Cindy.
Grandchildren: Tommy Phillips and wife Carrie, Angela Lewis, Keith Hearon and wife Karen, Jason Hearon and wife Melissa, Robin Hearon, Monica Ramos, Jeremy Wade, Allyson Wade, Nichole Hearon Alex Hearon and Trenton Armstrong and wife Brandi. Great Grandchildren Autumn Massey, Cody Lewis, Gage Hearon, Courtney Lewis, Andrew Cortes, Anthony Cortes, Daniel Wade, Kati McCorkle and Gunner Armstrong. Great great grand-daughter Presley Pluckett and another Great- great grandchild coming soon.

Funeral services will be held at Lucas Funeral Home at 1321 Precinct Line in Hurst, Texas at 9 a.m. Wednesday September 20, 2017. Followed by graveside service at DFW National Cementary at 11:30 a.m. The viewing will be held at Lucas on Tuesday, September 19th from 6-8 pm.
