Donald Jonathan Lewis

Donald Jonathan Lewis, a beloved resident of Crowley, TX, formerly of Mineral Wells, passed away on May 22, 2024, at Baylor Hospital at the age of 65. Born in 1959 in Amarillo, TX to Wilburn Donald and Wanda Sue Hight Lewis, Don was known for his exceptional mechanical skills and his undying love for his family and friends.

Affectionately dubbed "Mr. Fix It," Don possessed a remarkable talent for repairing anything that came his way. His passion for Chevys, motorcycles, Craftsman tools, NASCAR, and football was only surpassed by his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge with others. A devoted Baptist, Don believed deeply in the power of prayer and cherished every moment spent with loved ones.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 46 years, Joyce Lewis, along with his children Michael Burkett of Crowley, Joshua Lewis and wife Ashley Lewis of Burleson, TX, grandchildren Blake, Brooke and Brinley: grandchildren Zoey, Kora and their mother Amanda; granddaughter Harley and her mother Kimberly, great-grandchildren Tyler and Niko, his sisters Karen Bailey of Mineral Wells, TX, and Margie Lewis of Covington, and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Wilburn and Wanda Lewis, brother Gary Lewis, brother in law Eddie Bailey, and niece Krystal Scherree' Bailey.

A Memorial Service to honor Don's life will be held at the Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home-Chapel on June 8, 2024, at 2:00 pm, where family and friends will come together to celebrate his life, share cherished memories, and find solace in each other's company. Don Lewis will forever be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for those around him. May he rest in peace.
