Donald Bruce Ray

Donald (Don) Bruce Ray, 64, passed away on December 11, 2021 in Grapevine, Texas.
Don was born on March 13, 1957 in Cleburne, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he was a member of the fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha and was a founding member of the fraternity Theta Zeta Chi. Don was a home builder for 25 years and a home owner’s claims adjuster before he retired in June of 2020.
Don is survived by his wife, Pat Ray; brother, David Ray; son, Daniel Ray and his wife Ashley; daughter Megan Ray; grandchildren, Gavin Ray and Eva Hersch; and many more family and friends. Don was preceded in death by his daughter Charlotte Hyde. Don was a leader in the Boy Scouts for many years. Don loved nature, hiking and travel. He was an avid reader and loved his e-bike. Don had a deep faith and was a member of White’s Chapel UMC.
