Donald Claude Smith

Donald C. Smith, age 76, died on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in his home from complications of dementia. He leaves his wife Sherry of 53 years and his three children, son Taylor and wife Stephanie; daughter Katherine Daley and husband Nathan; and son Thomas (Tommy) and wife Crystal; four grandchildren, Jackson Smith, Miles Daley, Maeve Daley, and Jakob (Jake) Smith; his niece Dorinda McCoy and husband Tony.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Chester Smith, his brother Chester (Butch) Smith, nephew Chad Smith, and great nephew Christopher McCoy.
Don worked for 34 years at 3M Company as a sales representative in the TelComm Division. He enjoyed playing sports in his early years and later traveling to different lands and to visit his children and grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held for Don on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 am at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church, Flower Mound.
