It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Benjamin Bennett and Donna Gene Bennett, who departed from this world on May 24, 2024, which was Friday evening in a fatal car accident.
Michael served his country proudly for 20 years and ended his career as a Captain in the Marine Corps. He then enjoyed a second successful career at Tension Envelope where he retired for the second time. Donna served alongside Michael by raising their children and by being his biggest fan. Their unwavering commitment to each other was demonstrated by always being at each other's side.
Throughout their lives, they found true joy and companionship and shared 58 years of marriage, marked by love, laughter, and a deep mutual respect. Their bond was a shining example of enduring dedication and partnership.
They will be deeply missed by their daughters, Diana Bennett Fenstermaker and her husband Matthew, Cindy Taylor and her husband John, as well as Kim Fowler and her husband Brent. They took immense pride in their role as grandparents to Christopher Galvin, Adam Taylor, Chandler Fowler, and Mackenzie Hufstedler. Additionally, they cherished their great-grandchildren, Zoey Galvin and Griffin Taylor, who brought light and happiness into their lives.
A couple with integrity and kindness, they were both known for their generosity and warm spirits. They found immense joy in spending time with family, playing cards, and camping under the open skies. Their enduring love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know them.
We will always carry your memories in our hearts.
