Donna Culbertson

Donna Mae Dean Culbertson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher and friend, passed away July 30, 2015, in Keller, Texas from a sudden unknown illness.

Visitation will be August 2, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. The memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. August 3, 2015, at Lucas Funeral Home, 137 E Hill St, Keller, TX.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Donna was born February 1, 1947 in Tyler, Texas to the late Edward T. and Mary Helen Dean. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1965 and North Texas State University in 1969. She taught Gifted & Talented English for over 30 years and made a lasting impression on her students at Eagle Mountain Saginaw, Winona and Lake Worth Schools. She retired in 2001. Donna enjoyed reading, traveling, gambling, working out and spending time with her grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Culbertson, son, Hays Culbertson, grandson, Jagger Culbertson and his mother Sherry Hibben, sister, Dianne Haesly and many beloved family and friends.
