Donna Lee

Donna (Bryan) Lee, born on January 20, 1953, in Waxahachie, Texas, entered God's heavenly kingdom on December 8, 2023, in Hurst, Texas. She was a woman of unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, a devoted wife, loving mother, amazing grandma, and esteemed educator whose life was a testament to compassion, generosity, dedication, and great love.
Dona graduated from L.D Bell High School and embarked on a journey that would shape her life profoundly. It was during her time with the Sacramento Prayer Corp that she met the love of her life, Duane Lee. Their shared devotion to Christ became the cornerstone of their relationship, and they exchanged vows on June 21, 1974, in Fort Worth, Texas. This marked the beginning of a lifelong partnership filled with love and shared adventures.
Guided by their faith, Donna and Duane embarked on a new chapter of their lives, moving to Oahu, where they were blessed with two children. David Duane Lee, born in February of 1978, and Denise Joy Lohelani Lee, born in November of 1982, brought immeasurable joy and fulfillment to Donna and Duane, fostering a family bound by love and commitment to God.
In the spring of 1989, the Lee family relocated to Bedford, Texas and soon settled down to Euless, Texas where Donna continued her pursuit of knowledge. She dedicated herself to higher education, earning a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Arlington. Donna's passion for teaching led her to a fulfilling career with Arlington I.S.D., where she played a vital role in shaping young minds. Her impact on students and colleagues was profound, culminating in her role as the head of the math department at Sam Houston High School in her final years of teaching.
As Donna became a Grandma her adoration knew no bounds, and she took immense pride in witnessing the unique personalities and talents of each grandchild. Whether she was shopping, baking treats, or simply enjoying moments together, Donna revelled in the special bond she shared with each grandchild, leaving them with a legacy of love and fond memories that will forever be etched in their hearts.
Donna will be deeply missed by her beloved husband, Duane Lee, her son David Lee and his wife Kristi Lee, and their two children Joshua Lee and Chloe Lee, her daughter Denise Capps and her husband David Capps, and their three children Hannah Capps, Genavieve Capps, and Judah Capps, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Donna Lee has confessed that Jesus Christ is Lord and has believed in her heart that He rose from the grave. She now is made whole and is rejoicing with her savior Jesus Christ where there is no death, mourning, crying or pain.
