Donna Kaye Welling, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, peacefully passed away on November 20, 2023, at her home in Burleson, TX, at the age of 66. She was born on February 22, 1957, in Fort Worth, TX, where she spent her formative years.
Donna's life was one filled with joy and dedication to her family. She attended high school and junior college in Tarrant County, cultivating lifelong friendships along the way. After completing her education, she pursued her passion for flowers and became a talented florist. Donna actively participated in the local PTO, enriching the lives of countless children through her devoted involvement.
Known for her creative spirit, Donna embraced various arts and crafts. From needlepoint to diamond painting, she poured her heart into every project, showcasing her artistic talents. Her warm and compassionate nature drew people towards her, and she cherished these connections throughout her life.
Faith played a significant role in Donna's life. Though her health prevented her from attending services in person, she found solace and inspiration in televised sermons, nurturing her spiritual journey from the comfort of her home.
Donna's memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Randall Welling, who stood by her side through thick and thin. She leaves behind her sons, Donald Golden (Bobbi Golden) and Richard Welling, her cherished grandchildren, Catt Golden and Wesley Golden, and great-grandchild, Helix Whitten. Donna was also a loving sister to her brother, Larry Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Darrell Kirkland.
In honor of a life well-lived, a memorial service will be held on December 16, 2023, at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to join together at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home-Chapel in Burleson, TX, to celebrate Donna's remarkable journey and to support one another during this time of profound loss.
