DORIS ANNA SCHUTZA RANDLES MARTIN BRADFORD
Doris Anna Bradford, passed away peacefully at her home in North Richland Hills, Texas on August 29, 2023 to join her loved ones in Heaven.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 on September 9, 2023 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053. Private interment at Blue Bonnet Hills Memorial Park at a later date.
Doris was born January 22, 1927 in the rural area of the town of West, Texas, in McLennan County, to Alfred Herman Schutza and Albina Hykel. After graduating from West High School in 1945, she moved to Fort Worth where she resided until her death. In 1947, she married Thomas Howard Randles and from that union was born two sons and two daughters.
In 1977, she married Grover Cleveland (G. C.) Martin, Jr. And together for 10 years lived in a fifth wheel, traveling the U. S. A. , parts of Canada, and into Nova Scotia, spending winters in Tucson, Arizona and summers in Colorado. After Mr. Martin’s death in 2002 from cancer, she continued her passion of volunteering for different organizations and her church, Peace Lutheran Church. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst, Texas for nearly 50 years.
In March 2006, she married Harlan Bradford, but that marriage was cut short when Mr. Bradford died of a heart attack in January 2008.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Lawrence and Gene Schutza, sister Shirley Schutza Hooper.
Survivors: One sister, Carol Schutza Snider, One brother, Alfred Schutza Jr, son Stephen P. Randles & wife, Kris, daughters, Susan Randles Neal & husband, Robert, Shari Randles Howard & husband, Donald, and son Scott A. Randles & wife, Cori. Seven grandchildren and Eight great grandchildren.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Benevolence Fund at Peace Lutheran Church, Presbyterian Night Shelter or charity of choice. Doris asked that people would wear colorful attire instead of dark colors, to celebrate her life.
