Doris Aline Fisher, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013. Doris was the best mother and grandmother and was loved and admired by everyone who knew her.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday in Lucas Sylvania Avenue Chapel. Burial: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert W. Fisher; son, Timmy Fisher; granddaughter, Amy Doris Fisher; and brother, Morris Brown.
Survivors: Son, Charles and his wife, Josie Fisher; daughters, Wanda and her husband, Vernon Gregoire, Karan and her husband, J.D. McCuistion; daughter-in-law, Linda Fisher; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
