HURST -- Doris Tyler passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Philip Presbyterian Church, Hurst.
Memorials: Donations to either St. Philip Presbyterian Church or to the Alzheimer's Association, North Texas Chapter, 2630 West Freeway, Suite 100, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
Doris was born on Jan. 12, 1926, in Conklin, N.Y., to William and Charlotte Stenson. She was a longtime member of St. Philip Presbyterian Church where she was involved in pastoral care.
She was a caring person with a great sense of humor and a special touch with babies. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles D. Tyler.
Survivors: Daughters, Diane Collins, Betsy Joyner and her husband, Henry Joyner, Carolyn Courtois and her husband, Andrew Courtois; son, William Tyler and wife, Laurie; grandchildren, Morris Collins, Sarah Joyner, Kaydi Joyner Bishop and her husband, Mark, and Andrew, Emily and Ashley Courtois; sister, Marjorie Russell and her husband, Dale; and brother, William Edward Stenson and his wife, Betty.
