Dorothy Mae Iles Ritterspach

COLLEYVILLE -- Dorothy Mae Iles Ritterspach, 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2016.
Funeral: 10 am Monday at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst. Visitation: 2-4 pm Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: Nevada Cemetery in Nevada, Ohio.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation ( www.jdrf.org ) or Peace Lutheran Church. Dorothy was born May 7, 1929 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to the late Jay and Eva King Iles. She was the youngest of 8 children growing up in Upper Sandusky. She met and married Wayne Ritterspach October 20, 1952 and they raised their family in Findlay, Ohio before moving to Texas in 1976. They were married nearly 35 years when he passed away in 1987.
Dorothy worked many years in retail and as a medical receptionist. Above all, Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne; brothers, John Iles, Donald Iles, Jay Iles, Lawson Iles, and Melvin Iles; sisters, Thelma Williamson and Elsie Graham.
Survivors: Son, Jim Ritterspach and wife Amanda; daughter, Vicki Smith and husband Ken; grandchildren, Brenda Nye, Lisa Dean and husband Drew, Jim Smith, Kevin Smith, and Kyle Smith; great-grandchildren, Alex Dean, Jason Dean, Rayanne Nye, and Rachel Nye; great-great-granddaughter, Audrey Dean; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
