Dorothy Jean Walles was born on September 9, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on November 9, 2019 in Hurst, Texas.

She was preceded in death by husband of over 60 years, J E Walles; her parents, and sister, Patricia Cox.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Jackie Linn Knight and husband Bruce and Jan Songer and husband, Larry all of Gilmer, Texas; sister, Gloria Gray and husband Elmer of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Lonnie Carter of Gilmer, Texas; grandchildren, Christina Cunningham and husband Chris of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Sarah Knight of Gilmer, Texas, J.E. Allen, Misty Dawn Allen and Cory Laredo, Emily and Sara all of Denton, Jonathan Wayne Songer of Colorado and Lawrence Dean Songer and Kaiden Eory of Bedford; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Dillon, Branden, Malikai, Isabella, Mackenzi, Myah, Micah, Grace, Jax, Josiah, Jewels, Lauryn, Gavin, Elliana, Serenity and Lily; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, November 15, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Funeral service will be held at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, November 17, 2019 also at Lucas Funeral Home.
