Dorothy Ann Wiese, 73, passed away February 6, 2021 at her home in Burleson. An informal visitation and celebration of life will be held from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Avenue in Burleson. The family invites guests to stay for a small dinner and reception immediately following the celebration from 6:00-7:00pm in the reception hall.
Dorothy was born January 23, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Alton Clendennen and Marjorie Lamberth Henderson. She grew up in Rendon and graduated from Everman High School in Everman in 1966. After high school, she worked as a bank teller at Tarrant State Bank and Wells Fargo. She then managed the office of Central Dental Laboratory that she and her husband, Ken, owned for over 40 years.
Dorothy married Kenneth Wiese June 25,1966 in Rendon. They were happily married for 54 years. She was a loving, dedicated wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and the very best friend anyone could ask for. Her heart and giving spirit reached all those who had the great please of meeting her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Marjorie; brother, Jack Clendennen; mother-in-law, Frieda Moore; and sister-in-law, Frieda Fowler.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughters, Sherri Pekrul and husband, Steve and Misty Donaho and husband, Phillip; grandchildren, Ryan Roberts, Miranda Roberts, Mason Donaho, Corbin Donaho, Steven Pekrul and wife, Raa, Jorja Sherman and husband, Bryan, Piper Pekrul, and Kalistah Pekrul; great-grandchildren Bryan Sherman, Jr. and Levi Pekrul; brother, Ivey (Tooter) Clendennen and wife, Stella; sister, Linda Andersen and husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Judy Clendennen; as well as many other beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Johnson County.
