Doyle Lee “ Jug Head “ Ainsworth, born April 19, 1961, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2017 while working in Fort Worth, TX. He was a valued employee of Siemens Fossil Services as a millwright for many years. He resided in the Mt. Pisgah Community of Lucedale, MS. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the Army and was honorably discharged at the age of 21.
Doyle’s favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and caring for his canine babies, Lil Bit and Jack. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Eunice (Sullivan) Alford; maternal grandparents, Dewitt and Dolcia Mae Murphy; paternal grandparents, Tom and Bessie Alford.
Doyle is survived by his father, Willis Alford; siblings, Eugene Ainsworth (Lu), Sonja Dearman (Alan), Valarie Guy, Matthew Alford and Renea Abrams (Chris); a special granddaughter, Annie and a host of nieces and nephews.
It was his wish to be cremated and his ashes spread in the river and woods. He said, “To swim with the fish and run with the deer.” There will be a memorial in his honor to be announced at a later date.
