Doyle Cumby, 81, passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, in Fort Worth.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Justin, 402 West 8th St., Justin. Interment: Medlin Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main St., Keller.
Doyle Cumby was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Abilene, son of the late Floyd Jay and Edna Glynn “Bill” Lackey Cumby.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Cumby; and sister, Pat Chambers.
Survivors: Wife of 64 years, Rosa Cumby of Justin; son, Billy Cumby and wife, Brenda, of Irving; daughter, Deedra Cumby of Justin; grandsons, Jeffrey Cumby of Lubbock, Brandon Cumby and wife, Susan, of Dallas, and Brad Cumby of Irving; great-granddaughters, Brianna Cumby of Watauga and Jasmine Cumby of Brownwood; brothers, Gerald Cumby and wife, Sherry, of Burleson, Randy Cumby and wife, Kyle, of Altus, Okla., and Tony Cumby and wife, Brenda, of North Richland Hills; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
