Earl Jay Black

Jay was a loving husband, father, son, and friend. He was a hard worker, always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife Cindi (Hartpence) Black of Roanoke, TX, his daughter and son-in-law Sierra (Black) and Tyler Quebbeman of Ft. Worth, TX,
his son Ty of Roanoke, TX, his parents Bill and Lalia Black of Camp Bandina, TX, his brother and sister-in-law Bill and Karen Black of Denton, TX, brother
and sister-in-law Jimmy and Misty Black of Byesville, OH, mother-in-law Sarah Hartpence of Keller, TX, in-laws Annette and Miguel Carbajal of Mora Leon,
Mexico, sisters-in-law Kris and Joanne Pearce of Dallas, TX, sister-in-law Lory LeBlanc of Dallas, TX, and sister-in-law Melissa Fleskas of Dallas, TX, as well
as a number of foster children and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Raven (2004) and his son Hunter Wayne Black (2015) and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that people make a donation in the buckets at the front of the church for the orphanage in Mexico or make a check payable to Lake Cities and notate it’s for the orphanage.
