Earl Marshall

June 26, 1953 — July 22, 2016

Earl Dean Marshall passed away Friday, July 22nd, 2016 at the age of 63. He was not in any pain during his passing, nor was he alone. He was with someone that loved him, his wife Rosalina.
Earl was born June 26, 1953 in Dragerton, East Carbon, Utah. And was later adopted by William and Isabell Waytones Marshall.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and belonged to a very active Boy Scout troop with many camping, fishing, and hiking trips. He graduated from Carbon High School in Price, Utah and where he was involved in wrestling and baseball.
After graduation, at the age of 19, he joined the United States Navy in the summer of 1972 and was stationed at NAS Lemoore in California as part of the Attack Squadron 127. His time on the sea took him all over the world, to countries such as Africa, and notably the Philippines where he was later stationed and met his future wife.
When Earl was 21, He married Rosalina Diaz during the spring of '75 in a ceremony at Parish of St. Roche, in the City of Olongapo, Philippines. Two years later Earl and Rosalina brought their daughter Erica Marshall into the world.
Earl continued serving in the United States Navy until he received an Honorable Discharge in the fall of '82. During his ten years in the Navy he received an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
He later received a degree in Airframe Mechanics & Aircraft Maintenance at Dixie State University in St. George, UT. Which led him to becoming an A&P Aircraft Technician for Skywest Airlines in St. George, UT, Boeing in Lynnwood, WA, and then later retired from American Airlines in Fort Worth, TX.
During his life, Earl spent much of his time helping others, camping, fishing, working on vehicles, rebuilding several of his Triumph motorcycles, and making improvements to his home. After retiring he spent time traveling all over the country visiting family and friends. Before he passed away, Earl was able to achieve his dream of having his own airplane. He spent several hours flying the plane in the skies of Idaho before returning home to Texas.
Survived by his wife, Rosalina Marshall and daughter, Erica Marshall of Fort Worth, TX; brother, Wesley Marshall of Price, UT.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stanley; and sisters, Jeanett and Sandra.
