HURST -- Earline Hurst, 96, a member of the pioneer Hurst family, passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at a Corsicana nursing home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst. Interment: Arwine Cemetery. Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday.
Honorary pallbearer: Bill Souder.
Earline, the daughter of the late Frank and Carrie Wallace Richards, was born July 14, 1917, in Cameron. She retired from Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hurst.
Earline was preceded in death by her husband, Kenith Hurst; great-grandson, Kody Maner; and sister, Botchie Walker.
Survivors: Son, T.C. Hurst and his wife, Ann; grandchildren, Lauri Ann Hurst Rash and husband, Larry, and Timothy Hurst and wife, Cathy; and great-grandchildren, Tanner Hurst and Micah Hurst.
