Servant of God, Spouse, Mother and Grandmother, Health Professional
(Born: June 10th 1947 in Georgetown, British Guiana; deceased December 9th 2022 in Denton, TX)
Servant of God: Charismatic Christian from a young age and a diligent disciple of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. Strong believer in God’s Word, she applied the principles of the Bible as a servant in her life, a spouse, a mother and grandmother.
Spouse, mother and grandmother: Loving and diligent disciple of the Lord, she served her husband Yves Michiels as an exemplary spouse for 48 years, her children Alison and Ebony and her grandchildren. She helped to change the lives of many, friends and family.
Health professional: She left her country Guyana in the late sixties to England where she graduated as a “State Registered Nurse” and a “Registered Midwife”. Setting her career aside she followed her husband to Africa where she served in several hospitals and other health settings (e.g. embassy nurse). When she settled in the US, she passed the Board Exam in NY state and practiced in NY health facilities. She retired from professional life upon arrival in Texas (2010).
She was welcomed into the Lord’s Kingdom:
