Edward Raymond Leach II, 70, passed away peacefully on February 14th, 2023, at his home in Hurst, Texas.
He attended grade school in San Francisco, CA and moved to Hurst Texas just before Junior High. There he played a little football and at the time held the school record in shot put. He went to L.D.Bell High School and played football there. He graduated in 1971 and got a couple of years in at Tarrant County Junior College before settling in and working for his father at Leach Printing Company.
Ray did it all at Leach Printing Company, but he was best at sales. He was a wonderful sales person and was able to reach out to the community and draw in business. He went on to keep selling printing jobs long after Leach Printing had officially closed their doors to the public.
During all his years at Leach Printing Company, he dated many ladies but it seemed marriage and Ray were not meant to be. He had many friends along the way and has made many friends through the years. He was beloved by many.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle and more recently a great, great uncle. This kind and gentle man has known many people and left an impression of love and kindness on us all.
Ray is survived by his sister Barbara Warner, brother Larry Leach, nieces Christy Krysinski, Charity Hammock, Katie Leach and Sarah Leach and nephews Brad Warner and Shea Birdwell.
Visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on February 25th at Lucas Funeral Home. Graveside Service from 3:00 pm, also on February 25th at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery.
