Elaine Hofmeier

G. Elaine Hofmeier left this life on Thursday, March 25, 2021, in Fort Worth, at the age of 97.

Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2016 Willis Ln, Keller. Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. immediately prior to Mass. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, in Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, where Elaine will rest alongside her beloved husband of 33 years, William.

Elaine will be remembered for her love of telling stories of growing up, love of reading, southern accent, and dancing at karaoke while her son-in-law, Dan, provided the DJ.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Hofmeier, Jr.; her parents, Edwin and Flora Mae Huckabee; and her brother, Charles Huckabee; all of South Carolina.

She is survived by her three children, William and his wife, Jeri, Patricia and her husband, Dan, and Elizabeth and her husband, Michael; and her two grandchildren, Keith and Steven and his wife, Courtney.
