Eleanor Marie Anderson

Eleanor Marie Ditto Anderson, loving wife, mother, and Nana, passed away on March 17, 2024 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on June 23, 1941 in Indianola, Iowa to Nellie Musselman Ditto and Carl A. Ditto. She married Wayne, her devoted husband of 59 years, in June of 1964 in Des Moines, Iowa. They moved many times throughout Wayne’s career, and she met many cherished friends along the way. She loved being Nana to Andrew, Taylor, and Ryan and made many wonderful memories with them on family vacations over the years. She had a zest for life and a smile that was infectious. She was a kind, generous soul who embraced everyone and never met a stranger. Ellie is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Nellie Ditto and her sister Ruth Ditto Smith. She is survived by her husband Wayne; daughter Lisa Anderson Morris; son Bret Anderson and spouse Jessica; grandchildren: Andrew Morris, Taylor Anderson, and Ryan Anderson.
