Elizabeth Gae Campbell

Elizabeth "Liz" Gae Campbell of Bedford, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21, at the age of 24, of a pulmonary embolism. Liz is remembered by her close circle of family and friends as the most charismatic and kind-hearted young woman with an incredibly contagious smile, who graciously put others, especially her 17-month-old son Robert "Robbie" Shane Cabreros, before herself. Born December 6, 1992 in Bedford, Texas to Patricia Crowley Campbell and Robert Dean Campbell, Jr., Liz graduated from LD Bell High School in 2011. She went on to earn her Associates Degree from Tarrant County College and built a career, climbing the ranks to hold a managerial position at an auto company.
In 2012, Liz met the love of her life James Cabreros, Jr., and four years later, on May 10, 2016, the two had their only son Robbie, their truest joy and purpose in life. Liz's spirit is ever-present in Robbie's eyes and his vibrant personality.
Liz is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Dean Campbell, Sr. and Jerry Crowley, and her father Robert Dean Campbell, Jr., whose own untimely death in 1993 took him when Liz was a mere 2 months old.
In addition to her son, Liz is survived by her significant other and father of her son James Cabreros, Jr. of Hurst; mother Patricia Crowley White and husband David White of Hurst; brother William Bumpers and sister Sarah Bumpers of Hurst and Step brother Matthew White; Grandmother Gae Campbell of Irving; grandmother Ann Crowley of Hurst; aunt Tracy Matlock and husband Mike Matlock; uncle Jerry Crowley; aunt Steffani Campbell and life partner Lori Rook; aunt Shauna Jenkins and husband William Jenkins; cousins: Lindsey Rook; Kendall, Emily and Will Jenkins; and Bailey and Erin Matlock; and her best friend, Ashley Coats.
Liz's family expresses their sincerest gratitude to all of their friends and family for their overwhelming support, condolences and prayers. We celebrate her life and the many she touched in her short time with us.
