Mrs. Hathcock was born June 20, 1932 in Morian, TX to William and Addie Evans. She worked as a lab tech for 60 years until retiring ten years ago.
Mrs. Hathcock was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jack Redford; and grandson Richard Hooper.
Mrs. Hathcock is survived by her husband of 65 years Buster Hathcock; daughter Karen (Mark) Hooper; grandchildren Christina Hooper, Jonathan Hooper and Jennifer Hooper; 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
