Elizabeth “Marian” Hetzler passed away on February 26, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on December 17, 1946, to Thomas and Elizabeth Little in Los Angeles, California and grew up in Logansport, Indiana.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, followed by burial at Bourland Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Wednesday, March 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller.
Marian was a devoted Air Force wife who cherished the adventures of traveling alongside her husband and children. Marian loved her working career with “her people”. She was a past president of the Miami Valley of Ohio Airstream Club and found joy in many hobbies … painting, ceramics, stained glass, cake decorating and dancing. But spending time with her beloved family was most important. Marian was an open heart who let love guide. She truly loved her family and lit up every occasion with an unmatched warmth. Her genuine caring was truly magical and left a mark on everyone who witnessed it.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Hetzler; her children, Donald Hetzler II, Laura McInerny and husband P.J., and David Hetzler and wife Toni; her brother, Thomas Little and wife Sylvia; and her sister, Rona Isaacs. She was a proud grandmother to Helena, Henry, Denis and wife Laura, Kevin and wife Emilee, Colin, and Gavin, and a cherished great-grandmother to Eleanor and Wallace.
She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
