Elizabeth "Libby" Marshall Gilbert

Elizabeth "Libby" Marshall Gilbert, age 78, born December 7, 1942 in Steele, Missouri and passed away April 24, 2021 in North Richland Hills Texas.

Libby Marshall was a beautiful and classy woman who loved to garden and travel. She attended Steele Elementary and Steele High School. Libby met Stanley Gilbert in 1973 and was married in June of 1976. Together they travelled the world and were inseparable. Libby is preceded in death by her Mother Ruby Barnes Marshall, Father Harry Marshall, Brothers Glenn Marshall, Roger Marshall, Jimmy Marshall, Harold Marshall, and Billy Marshall. She is survived by her husband Stanley Gilbert, daughter Jeanette Cox, Two grandkids Barbara Brewer and her husband Jeremiah, Robert Cox and his wife Chesley, and three great-grandkids Jared, Jacob, and Ashley and seven grandpets. Brother Kenny Marshall, Sisters Mary Linamen and Linda Jaycox, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at a visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main Street, Keller, Texas 76248. Graveside Service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, April 30, 2021 at Smithfield Cemetery, 7935 Main Street, North Richland Hills, Texas 76182.
