Elizabeth Mozina

Elizabeth Mozina of Colleyville, Texas, was born 15 October 1937 in Punxsutawney, PA and passed away at home on 20 March 2025.

She married Frank V. Mozina Jr. 25 June 1960 and was a loving wife of 64 years. She was the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Rosman) Koromaus who preceded her in death. She was the loving mother of William Mozina (Donna), Ellen Hayden (John Desanges), and Frank Mozina (Yvette) and grandmother of Danielle and Matthew LeBlanc, Michael (Kirstin) and Scott (Alexis) Hayden, Christopher and Justin (Brittany) Mozina, and Amber (Austin) Grubbs. Loving Sister of Helen (Charles (Doug)) Morris and Ted (Jean) Koromaus. She is preceded in death by brothers Joseph (Loretta) Koromaus and John (Elaine) Koromaus. She also loved her 9 great-grandchildren and her dog Cookie.

She was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School, class of 1955 and received a degree as an RN from Allegheny General Hospital and worked with newborn babies and mothers throughout her career. She was an avid quilter and loved to play tennis and golf. She enjoyed going to church and if there was trouble in her life or the lives of her family her response was “this too shall pass.” She served her family throughout her life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
