Elizabeth Rankin, 79, of Richland Hills, Texas passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born in Coleman, Texas on March 20, 1941 to Charles E. and Jewel Elizabeth Mayfield.
Elizabeth was married to James Rankin on April 20, 1962 in Abilene, Texas. She worked as a secretary for Southwestern Laboratories in Fort Worth and Nunn Electric Supply in Amarillo as her career. She was a member of North Pointe Baptist Church, and loved working with children and taught Sunday School in every church she attended. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, gardening, reading and watching movies, water aerobics and spending time with her family.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Jewel Elizabeth Mayfield.
She is survived by her husband, James Rankin, son, Alan Rankin, daughter, Lisa Self, son-in-law, Brian Self, granddaughters, Miranda Self and Erin Self, brothers, Kenneth Mayfield and wife, Marty Mayfield, Charlie Mayfield and wife, Judy Mayfield and her nieces and nephews.
